Week 47, Transfer 7 Area: Yuba City (Tierra Buena Branch) Compañera: Hermana Park DUBS DINNERS this week! Celebrated the birthday of one of our members, Lupita, with her and her family!!! She wanted all of the missionaries there and made delicious enchiladas and had 3 leches cake for dessert. She's literally the sweetest, I love her so much! We also had AMAZING Chile relleno with Hermana Quintero and ate with our branch president's family, the Zermeños! Met a sweet older lady this week She talked about her garden and the visions she has where she receives songs from God and then sings them with a cute little tambourine in her church. Dubs lessons with Antonia (1st lesson with her!) She's seen our Facebook page and saw the Book of Mormon on it, so we were able to explain it to her. I was on exchanges with the English sisters, so they bore powerful testimony in English and I translated. Antonia felt the power behind them even before I translated. She's so down to come to ...

Week 46, Transfer 7 Area: Yuba City (Tierra Buena Branch) Compañera: Hermana Park So many cool lessons! Leti, Martinez family, Cecilia & Efrain & family, Ezequiel, Miguel, etc. Found 10 new people to teach this week!!! Had 5 friends come to sacrament meeting too! None of which were ones we were expecting, but still so amazing! We were able to pull 4 lessons with members at them, which is AMAZING for this area! Interviews with President Basha! Shredded meat with our friend Ceci for her quesadilla vending. Tenemos las carnes. Exchanges with Hermana Genzer! She's going home at the end of this transfer. It's so cool to talk to her, and I'm incredibly grateful I live in the same apartment as her because she's so full of wisdom and seriously cracked at Spanish because she's been speaking it her whole life! Week 45, Transfer 7 Area: Yuba City (Tierra Buena Branch) Compañera: Hermana Park MIRACLES EVERYONE!!! Last Sunday the whole Yuba zone fasted together for our areas and the zone as a whole, and boy, has God answered our prayers and used us as instruments in His hands this week. Had so many amazing little interactions with people through a Facebook girls' Bible group I'm in! I've been able to share pieces of the gospel with them and help people who are struggling find light through Jesus Christ! Had a lesson with Rosa's kids! They're all members, but she's been wanting us to come over more often to just help give them some extra spiritual umph, so this time we made Book of Mormon reading charts because their self-set New Year's resolutions are to read the Book of Mormon every day this year. Drove out to Wheatland for a dinner! Personal miracle here because we got to drive through some of the prettiest fields and pure open space I've seen in a long time......

Week 44, Transfer 7 Area: Yuba City (Tierra Buena Branch) Compañera: Hermana Park Weekly update: We basically dropped our entire teaching pool and went finding like crazy. Talked to so many people. 99% of them were not interested, white, Catholic, and very much not interested, or some mix of all three. Found a couple of people who could actually be super lit. We're gonna see them this week and see if they're actually interested! We had an auction in English class. They auctioned off a fake chicken for $50 because we were learning about money. That was a fun class. ITL'd someone about baptism on the first contact. That was a good day. Took about seven wrong turns down the wrong dirt roads in Robbins... to ultimately find out the one dirt road out of there is closed. We were definitely 30 minutes late to dinner. The Elders also dipped, and our member was very peeved at them... that was a rough day. Learned the ENTIRE drama of the branch and why half the branch is inactive and...
