I'm Sorry I Dogged On Your Tofu.
Week 21, Transfer 3
Area: Corning (Olive Branch)
Comp: Hermana Tate
Hola hola! Espero que todo está bien.
I don't have much time this week, but I wanted to give some highlights and notable happenings of the week!
Charles came to church!
Did the cup-storation with Renata! (Google it, it's pretty cool! At least I hope the Google hits are as cool as the activity we did. Be careful on Google, haha.)
Had interviews with President Basha! He's so cool and gave us some really good ideas to help our friends.
Armando dropped us... RIP. But he's still going to other churches, so he's got that going for him!
Let the Elders borrow our car... like three times. Theirs has been in the shop this week. You've got to do all you can to further the work of the Lord, right? They haven't crashed it yet, at least, haha.
Found out that some people skip right past guard dogs and get guard pigs instead. (Peep the Google photos album.)
Please pray for Juana, Armando, Pablo & Grace, Marino, Esperanza, Miriam & Carlos, José, Kemberly & José, and Cristina and Renata!
Alma 36:19-21
19 And now, behold, when I thought this, I could remember my pains no more; yea, I was harrowed up by the memory of my sins no more.
20 And oh, what joy, and what marvelous light I did behold; yea, my soul was filled with joy as exceeding as was my pain!
21 Yea, I say unto you, my son, that there could be nothing so exquisite and so bitter as were my pains. Yea, and again I say unto you, my son, that on the other hand, there can be nothing so exquisite and sweet as was my joy.
God wants us to have joy, which is why He gave us His Son, Jesus Christ. The Atonement of Jesus Christ is so, so powerful. The joy that comes from it, in both the small and big things, is beyond imagination. Trust the Lord and love Him enough to use His Gift at all times and in all things and in all places.
Keep being awesome! You all are doing amazing! Don't hesitate to reach out! I love you all!

Notable Quotes:
"The p-day stressies are real."
"Ella patio niños??" - English class
(In Spanish, “ella parió un niño” = “She birthed a kid,” but it sounds like “patio,” so everyone was shocked for a hot second in English class.)
Singing "I'm so good at e-speaking Spanish. Badum, badum… monkey noises." - Some kid in the church and his sister in the hallway while we were doing language study
"Estaba muy busy."
"We sound great together… we should be together."
"So we turned around for our dead dog’s ashes."
"…It wasn't even that hard!"
"Well, that's too bad you can't go roast marshmallows on the wild fire."
