TARZAANNN!!!!

Week 22, Transfer 3
Area: Corning (Olive Branch)
Comp: Hermana Tate

Guys, the hand of the Lord is so real! This week was a little slower, but there were still so many miracles and little moments where we could truly see it was the Lord's will at work! Let's roll the highlights!

Had 4 people at English class! And two of them were first-time friends! We also casually talked about the Book of Mormon for 10 minutes afterward because everybody had questions and wanted to hear about it. So, so cool!
Another friend dropped us... major disappointment. But he's in the Lord's hands now.
Had exchanges! I went up to Redding for the day with Sister McCombs! They get to go to Institute every week, so I got to go since we were on exchanges! It was so special. The Spirit was so strong. You really can learn so much in those types of classes. They're literally just classes where you learn about Jesus Christ, the gospel, the Bible, and the Book of Mormon in more depth. If you have the opportunity, go to Institute! You don’t even have to be registered in the class to attend—just show up, and it will change your whole day! Send me an email if you need help finding your closest Institute building!
Also ate Taco Bell for the first time on the exchange... not worth it. Except for the Baja Blast.
We met Tarzan... if you know, you know.
Did a lot of service on Saturday! Helped a family in the Sisters' ward move out and a family in our branch move back in after the fire evacuation.
Fire Update
I somehow completely forgot to talk about the Park Fire last week! The Park Fire started down in the Chico area and is currently about 8 miles from our house. From what we've heard, it's the fourth-largest fire in California history, which is insane. They're working hard to contain it, and thankfully it isn't coming much farther west toward us, where there are a lot more houses and people, although there has been a lot of damage in other areas.

But all missionaries are safe, healthy, and doing well! Our mission presidency is monitoring the fire very closely and has been sending updates and instructions frequently. We have not had to evacuate up in Red Bluff and are not expected to, thankfully, so no need to worry! It's been crazy to witness, but all is well, and our friends are doing well too with it all!

2 Nephi 2:25
"Adam fell that men might be; and men are, that they might have joy."

Literally one of the best scriptures! Go find something that brings you joy this week and record it, either with a picture or in a journal!

Keep being awesome! Have the best week!
