I'm Gonna Be AP! (Definitely Clickbait :)

Week 37, Transfer 5
Area: Yuba City (Tierra Buena Branch)
Compañera: Hermana Park

Highlights

Transfer news came yesterday! I'm staying in Yuba with Hermana Park for a second transfer! Super stoked. I love these people and this area with my whole heart! It's coming in close to Corning.
Junior's baptism is coming up! He's doing amazing, but please, please keep praying for him that he'll continue.
Facebook miracle! I texted a lady about family history (who was actually not random at all). She responded very quickly and said her husband is looking into other religions. We invited them to church. They couldn’t make it but texted 10 minutes before church ended that they were on their way. So, we ended up having a lesson at the church with Hermano y Hermana Hernandez. So many tiny miracles led up to this lesson and spiritual promptings that were a testament of how intimately God knows each of His children's situations and needs! Long story short, we gave them a Libro de Mormón, and Henry was very intrigued while reading it. We have a return appointment this week. Please pray for Maria and Henry!
Had Zone Conference this week! One of my favorites so far. I wish I had more time to write about it, but there were lots of messages to help us become more dedicated missionaries and truly think about our purpose—the "why" of why we're out here—that stood out to me the most! We also sang Armies of Helaman, one of my favorite songs!
Tons of amazing lessons this week, and lots of members were able to come to our lessons! Such incredible church members here! I love them so much and all they do for our friends.
Went to the temple and did an endowment session and baptisms! The baptisms were with our branch, and it was two of the members' first times there! Such special experiences. The temple truly is powerful, peaceful, and beautiful! Never underestimate the power of God. There is power in participating in the gathering of Israel.
Spiritual thought for today
An invitation: Attend the temple this week.

Whether you're able to go inside and do proxy ordinances for your ancestors or simply walk around on the grounds outside, I promise that you'll be able to feel God's love and power as you do so with a sincere and earnest heart.

You're doing amazing things. Keep being awesome!
