MY Jesus :)

Week 54, Transfer 8
Area: Auburn (Auburn 2nd Ward)
Compañera: Hermana Griffin

Highlights & Rollercoasters
I forgot to put this in last week, but we were able to go to the temple last Saturday!! So cool to do a session in Spanish. As I was sitting in the session, I realized that I genuinely felt as if there was no weight on my shoulders while I was there. And I know that can happen for you too! Make time to go to the temple this week!!
Had an EPIC Zone Conference. The third great-grandson of Joseph Smith (and the first Melchizedek Priesthood holder in the family line since Joseph Smith, which was a fulfillment of prophecy!!!) and his wife came and spoke. The Kennedys bore powerful testimony of the Prophet Joseph Smith and the goodness of God.

 Spiritual Thought
2 Nephi 33:6
"I glory in plainness; I glory in truth; I glory in my Jesus, for he hath redeemed my soul from hell."

Another major topic of Zone Conference was Jesus Christ (as it should be). A handful of missionaries were able to bear their testimonies at the beginning of their favorite names of Jesus Christ. One sister shared how hers is "my Jesus." It is a simple name, but the significance behind it is individual and important. I invite you, as I've had the privilege of doing recently, to discover Jesus Christ and who He is to you—to work to make Him YOUR Jesus. The change will be magnificent and beyond your greatest imaginations.

I love you and hope you all have the best week ever!!!! (¡QUE TENGA UNA BUENA SEMANA!)

Elder Duncan: He offered me the free cheeseburger, but I refused to eat the sinful meat.
