KARINA GOT BAPTIZED!!!

Got dropped by our friend Julia... please pray for her :)

Had an awesome mmi where the whole family, including the kids, was genuinely engaged the ENTIRE time! And they actually liked it and learned something (all my missionary friends and parents trying to do Family Home Evenings know how big of a feat that is haha).

Went to my last zone conference. One of my biggest takeaways was about the effort we put into the things we do and how the Lord loves effort. We will have a very different conversation with the Lord at the judgement bar if we sat on the couch all day and avoided making mistakes versus if we got up out of bed every morning, tripped over something every once in a while, but got back up and then extended a hand to someone else who had tripped along the way! Lots of little impressions of how I can keep the momentum from the mission going after returning home!

Also saw our mission statistics of if (roughly) we find 37 people, 15 people will come to sacrament meeting, 3 people will accept baptismal dates, and 1 person will be baptized. So naturally, we set a goal to find 37 new friends to teach before I go home :) please pray for us and the Chico area!

Our 2 sweet friends Marlina (16) and Mailani (13) will be getting baptized THIS SATURDAY the 6th!! Please pray for them and their family Miguel, Evangelina, Mari, and Lana!!!

Ate some DELICIOUS food with our members this week! Mexican food always hits different!!
